Traffic chaos due to construction work at hochbrucke

Traffic chaos due to construction work at hochbrucke

At the rader hochbrucke on the A7 near rendsburg, traffic was temporarily backed up for 25 kilometers in the northbound direction and 17 kilometers in the southbound direction on sunday evening. Only one lane was available to drivers in each direction of travel.

In addition, the bridge was temporarily closed to trucks over 7.5 tons, because during the rehabilitation work that began on thursday, serious damage to the piers was discovered. The ministry of transport of schleswig-holstein expects the work to last up to four months. Transport minister reinhard meyer (SPD) inspected the damage on saturday. "It has become clear that we are indeed in a dramatic situation," he said after inspecting the dilapidated pillars. The decision to close schleswig-holstein’s most important highway to trucks was not taken lightly, but traffic safety was the top priority.

Thomas rackow, managing director of the schleswig-holstein logistics association, fears that the construction site will add millions of euros to the transport industry’s costs. "I am stunned, it is a catastrophe," he told the "flensburger tageblatt" (saturday edition). He had never before imagined that a construction site of this magnitude would be set up from one day to the next.

Skater facility passes first tests with flying colors

Skater facility passes first tests with flying colors

Numerous skaters are guests when mayor dieter schaar () presents the project. "It's a win and another building block in the area of sports and recreation around the school", he emphasizes. It was not an easy way to the completion, the location question had turned out to be difficult. "The terrain below the new parking lot at the end of the town in the direction of pechgraben was a good choice.

Schaar also recalls the initiative of neudrossenfeld youths in 2009, who had even collected a hundred signatures for such a park. "Now we could fulfill these wishes for just over 40 000 euro." The holistic design convinced him as well as the entire municipal council "the object is unique in the region".

The fact that the plant is now being subsidized by the district to the tune of 5,000 euros at short notice is highlighted by schaar.
District youth welfare officer jurgen ziegler calls such soft location factors such as the skate park in neudrossenfeld exemplary: "the municipality has a heart for youth".

Climate protection:subsidies rise to record high

climate protection:subsidies rise to record high

In view of planned government demands for more climate protection, the federal government expects a drastic increase in its subsidies. According to media reports, these will reach a record 31.4 billion euros next year.

According to a report in the "bild" newspaper (saturday), this is the result of the new subsidy report by finance minister olaf scholz (SPD), which the cabinet will decide on next wednesday. Previously, the "handelsblatt" newspaper had reported that. A spokesman for the ministry would not comment on the reports.

According to the reports, the volume of federal subsidies and tax breaks will rise from 21.8 billion euros in 2017 to 31.4 billion euros in 2020. The federal government’s subsidy policy is increasingly being shaped by climate and environmental policy. Another reason for the increase is the demand for billions of euros for broadband expansion. All in all, the subsidies are divided into 93 different financial aids – such as the child construction subsidy and the coal demand – and 105 tax breaks, for example for shift allowances or hotel accommodation.

Lautertal holds the soil dear

The municipality lies with the initiative "bodenstandig" of the bavarian state ministry for food, agriculture and forestry. At the community council meeting, daniel spaderna from the office for rural development (ale) gave detailed information on the project. A decision on participation has not yet been made, although the municipality is required to take action in view of the water problem on the agricultural land in the froschengraben alone.

Central concerns of "bodenstandig are erosion protection by reducing soil erosion from the fields, water protection by reducing nutrient and sediment input into the water, peak discharges during floods are to be mitigated, and buffers and retention structures are to be created. One of the focal points will be discussions with farmers, as more and more heavy precipitation is having an impact on land use. "Our current landscapes are a discontinued model", said spaderna. Therefore, the implementation should no longer take place at the green table. Rather, the aim was to achieve a participatory effect in the field, with farmers, in addition to the municipality, supporting the goals of "ground-level" should also make their own. The concept is financed 100 percent through the ale. A whole bundle of measures could be carried out.

To the question of the mayor sebastian straubel (CSU), whether the initiative the building of the rain water collector at the sports field oberlauter was delayed up to the conclusion of the procedure, came from the speaker a clear "no". The collector could be tackled independently of it. Mayor’s summary: "we are staying on top of this issue."

Viewpoint in the vineyard

Arrived at the top, patrick vogt says: "the place is really chosen correctly." The vogt garden and landscaping company from gemunden is currently laying out a "terroir f-point in the vineyards above the town. Soon hammelburg will also be part of the network of special viewpoints spread throughout the french wine region.

Not only the whole of hammelburg can be seen from the site at ofenthaler berg. The view extends far into the saale valley. This is to be made tangible in a special way: the "terroir f"-concept combines landscape with viticultural history and theme.

Four hor stations are being built in hammelburg, explains felix lang of the buro fur landschaftsarchitektur arc.Grun from kitzingen, who came up with the design idea for the "terroir f" store-point supplied. The hor stations will be located at the bends of a zigzag path. They form something like portals. There will be a seating area and a cupboard where wine, for example, can be stored for tours. In addition, as with all "terroir f"-where steel flags point out the worthiness of a visit.

Marktrodach children have trees in their sights

Marktrodach children have trees in their sights

Janina, antonia and moses attach brightly colored pictures to a rough poster wall in their school. The small works of art, painted by first-class students, show apple and cherry trees throughout the year. The trees can be seen in their prime, bearing abundant fruit, with autumn-colored leaves or with snow-covered, bare branches.

"In the past school year, there were various interdisciplinary activities on the theme of 'trees' at our school. This year in march, all the classes in our school planted a fruit tree together. Each class became a sponsor for its tree and had to give it to the children themselves. We watched it as its leaves grew and buds were formed.", reveal janina, antonia and moses; they attend the third class. A seventh tree was planted at the end of april. Many guests of honor came to the upper franconian day of the tree.

Unashamed accusations?

The attack of the city council faction of the union against the SPD city council faction regarding the cultural demand in the city is firmly rejected by reiner buttner, spokesman of the SPD city council faction. "One wonders whether the union has lost all its manners as a result of the political ash wednesday. To accuse the SPD faction of a confidence trick is impudent", writes buttner in a press release. "It is true that the SPD faction has included the request of the young theater forchheim (JTF) for more financial support from the city in its budget proposal. It was the only faction to demand the requested 35,000 euros", so buttner. "The fact that the CSU faction made no effort to reform the cultural work in forchheim for decades until the change of the mayor and now immediately demands this from the new mayor is dishonest."
The new mayor will have to deal with many of the city’s problems that were postponed by the CSU, such as the renovation of the city hall, the hospital merger and housing construction. The improvement of the cultural work is one of these open tasks, but is already on the agenda for 2018.
"Culture is important to the city, as can be seen from the fact that the "kulturpuls" project is being funded is required by the city", writes buttner.

Corona warning app a “toothless tiger” for soder

Corona warning app a 'toothless tiger' for soder

Bavaria’s minister-president markus soder considers the corona warning app to be practically ineffective so far. "The app is unfortunately a toothless tiger so far. It hardly has a warning effect," the CSU leader told the newspapers of the funke mediengruppe.

"Therefore, a digital update is needed to exploit all possibilities so that the corona app becomes effective." How exactly this update should look, lieb soder open.

SPD health politician karl lauterbach also called for the corona warning app to be upgraded with additional functions because of the sharp rise in corona numbers. He told the redaktionsnetzwerk deutschland (RND/tuesday) that one could not be satisfied with the fact that only 60 percent of the users who tested positive continue to report their findings for warnings through the app. "The question had to be reversed: whether someone explicitly does not want to warn."So far, users who test positive have to actively agree that their risk contacts are informed via the app.

Fascinating idea inspires schoolchildren

Fascinating idea inspires schoolchildren

Maximilian wolf from riedenberg is enthusiastic. In the new firefighting club at wildflecken elementary and middle school, the eighth-grader can live out his interest in the fire department and serve a good cause. In the past few weeks, he has already learned a lot, like the nine other students who have also joined the firefighting club.
The aim of the working group is to give students an insight into the correct procedures to follow in the event of a fire or accident and to impart basic knowledge about the fire department, fire protection, fire prevention and fire fighting. Maximilian and his friends have already made their own powerful contribution. In several hours of training, they learned about theory and practice from commandant georg helfrich and michael frank, and in the end they even took a final test. In the training units, they learned how to operate fire extinguishers, roll out fire hoses, and practice extinguishing and spraying with the jet pipe, among other things. Even a visit to the fire department of the federal armed forces in the rhon barracks was on the program. The schoolchildren were impressed by the many emergency vehicles of the professional fire department.
But commander georg helfrich is also impressed. "You have shown with your knowledge that you really enjoy working in the fire brigade" he praises the schoolchildren. As a proof of their participation in the training course of the working group "fire department" maximilian and the other members of the fire department AG received a written confirmation from the fire department and the school that they "participated with great enthusiasm in the cooperation with the volunteer fire department
. "When you send out applications for apprenticeships in the next few weeks, don’t forget to include the confirmation of participation", helfrich encourages the students. "It will be an advantage for you in the selection of applicants." Of course, helfrich also does a little advertising for the fire departments. With maximilian, this was clearly not necessary. "I regularly take part in the fire department’s drills in riedenberg with my father. As soon as i am 16 years old, i will definitely join the fire department officially", he is convinced.
Philipp kabecker is also eager to get down to business. "I still have to decide whether I will join the fire department later on. In any case, I would like to help people in need. I am therefore glad that i had the opportunity to take part in this training course and that i was able to expand my basic knowledge of fire protection considerably," says philipp, philipp tells.
The friends carina oschlies from wildflecken and sarah heil from oberwildflecken attend the 9. Class of the middle school wildflecken. They think it is quite possible to become a member of the volunteer fire departments later on. "We have learned a lot from this training and above all we have lost our fear of handling the fire extinguisher. We enjoyed it because it was interesting, exciting and impressive what the experts taught us", says carina, and her friend agrees with her.
With small gifts, principal erika hanlein and the course participants thanked georg helfrich and michael frank for their time and work spent with them. "I am glad that you succeeded in making schoolchildren sensitive to fire safety.
